Mindful Kids Meditation Course

We live in a world of much chaos, busy-ness and stress. Children are being pushed to learn to read and write sooner, to be social, to share, to be and do so much. At the same time, childhood illnesses are on the rise: ADHD, autism, hyperactivity, anxiety and depression are “diagnosed” on a daily basis.
Is there anything we can do about it as parents? I believe there is!
I know that using mindfulness techniques with my own children have lowered the occurrence of angry outbursts, misunderstandings and upsets in our home (and yes, that goes for the adults in the house too!). My children now have tools to express themselves when they are upset and calm themselves down before things get out of control. In fact, I am grateful my children are extra sensitive, emotional beings so that I could learn from them that there is a better way.
What is mindfulness?
It is simply the mental state achieved by focusing your awareness on the present moment while acknowledging and accepting your thoughts, feelings and bodily sensations.
It doesn’t mean you are a calm zen person all the time, just that you are more aware of your feelings and what they mean to you.
Can children learn to be mindful?
Absolutely! After running several mindful kids classes in person near my home, I decided to take my program online to reach more people, as the results were so beautiful.
One of the main reasons for using an online platform is that I feel more lasting results are achieved when parents are involved in the mindful practices and techniques with their children. Children model what they see, so what better approach than to show your child being mindful of your thoughts, words and actions?

What do I get in this course?
